Some say I'm crazy...

Today I have some news for you and I need your support!

I've committed {no going back} to run the 10 mile Great South Run in October this year in order to raise money for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Foundation. They are a charity incredibly close to my heart - who are tirelessly working to beat blood cancers.

As you may or may not know, in 2010 I lost someone I loved very, very much to blood cancer at the tender age of 20.

Pete was, and still remains an incredible inspiration for me - his bravery, steely determination and positivity in the face of adversity was truly admirable.

Nobody should have to go through what Pete went through - that's why it's SO SO important that we support charities like LLRF, because one day we will beat these cancers, and hopefully find ways to prevent people getting them in the first place - and with your help we can edge ever closer to that goal.

I've never run in my life...and I have pretty dodgy knees, well very dodgy knees, but following an op on both of them in 2012 and lots of physio and exercise since, I'm hoping that I can rise to this huge challenge. I'll be training mega hard, both in the gym on core strength, and outside on the road, and I'm lucky enough to have some pals keen to train with me!

So please, dig deep - every little helps, together we can help beat blood cancer's butt!

You can make a donation here.

Please, if you can - share this post, share the donations page, let make a difference!

Pete, this one's for you!

Have an awesome weekend everyone!
