How are we already a week into December? It's insane - it seems most of November flashed past me in a blur! I do apologise for the lack of regular posting recently, it's all been a bit manic in the run up to the festive season with me taking on double the amount of Christmas markets I usually do. So I've been less than organised when it comes to scheduling posts - oops!
Good news is - Today marks the start of a very exciting 12 days right here that will hopefully help build your Christmas excitement to epic proportions! I've got all sorts of treats and one-day offers for you that I'm certain you're going to love! So hold tight for the next 12 days to see what I have in store!
I love a good excuse to get crafting and what better than to create some sweet garlands to spruce up the studio eh? This little project takes almost no time at all, cost very little and adds the perfect amount of festive merriment to your home!
All you need is:
I made the little stars using a teeny icing cutter and Sculpey clay but you could make salt dough, or use something like Fimo if you have it.
It couldn't be easier, just cut several lengths of twine, string some with little bells, and for the star garland simply blob a smudge of hot glue on the back of each star and attach!
I glued all of mine fairly randomly along the string, rather than placing each at neatly spaced intervals - but you can do whatever you'd like of course!
Couldn't be simpler!
Once you're done, just tie little knots in each end and hang all over your home!
