#SCP sneaky peek...

Hello team!

Yep, that's right - one week until the lovely Harriet & I, party planners extraordinaire will be organising a rather exciting little party on the roof! If you have no idea what on earth I'm harping on about...then see here, here & here!

First things first - we have had a couple of lovely people 'drop out' for various reasons SO, if you'd like to be involved and are free next Thursday and can get to Southampton for a super fun afternoon...drop me an email at and tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis. It would be lovely to have you! We're just asking for £5 to cover our costs of refreshments and supplies!

Onto the juicy stuff:

So, to kick the afternoon off you will be getting stuck into your goodie bags - and my my do we some awesome goodies for you all!

Then we'll be crafting together. Harriet & I have come up with a project that we think you'll LOVE, more to be revealed later {I can't give it all away at once, although it is admittedly hard to contain the excitement I feel!}.

After we're suitably crafted out - or once our little tums just won't quit their rumbling we will be having a rather lovely little lunch. Think pretty little sandwiches, the yummiest of cakes and a whole host of other treats, along with outstandingly yum apple juice provided by my favourite juice team Cawston Press {Thanks guys :)}. We'll also have some Pinterest-esque flavoured waters cream and sprinkles!!

Then {yep there's more} we shall be hosting our super unimaginably awesome prize draw! Now this is something you won't want to miss. We initially planned a sort of hamper style prize to be won by one lucky person - HOWEVER - we've had such an overwhelmingly positive response from the wonderful people we've been contacting that, to give it all to one person would be a little OTT and would quite possibly create a whole host of green eyed monsters. Not something we want to create, we want nice chats and new pals right!?

Therefore - everyone will win something from the prize draw, and let me tell you, you will NOT be disappointed. So please do get excited for that!

Aside from all of the freebies, the real idea of the day is to meet like minded and lovely individuals who you'll hopefully want to keep in touch with and get crafty. We're crafting for community spirit and encouraging a bit of light hearted motivation!!

So after what appears to be quite the essay, and without further are some of the goodies you might get your mitts on from some truly talented and very generous people!
I can't quite believe I'm saying it but the explosion of goodies above is actually only a small selection of whats on offer...can you believe it??

Up there you can see work from:

We also have amazingness from:
{see I told you the pic was only a small amount!}

So there we have it...a sneaky peek at the prizes - what do you think??

Hello all,

Guess what?! Well you've probably already guessed...BUT...we will be hosting a Craft Party in sunny Southampton on June 20th as part of Etsy's annual craft party!

Hopefully we'll get nice weather so that we can all sit out on the big roof terrace outside my little apartment - then we can soak up some summer sun and get our craft on!

I've got a super ace {DIY} planned for us all to do, as well as a whole host of treats including tasty summer drinks, homemade fruity ice lollies, cakes {yay cakes} and maybe even ice cream with sprinkles!

Just like the blog meet ups we hosting earlier this year - the event will be a really great opportunity to meet some like minded and very lovely people, as well as get stuck into some crafting action and have a natter whilst you enjoy a good piece of cake!

If you are in the South {or even if you're not} and fancy joining us then please do let me know in the comments below, including your email and I'll make sure I get you a proper Etsy invitation to the event!

Please share with any friends you think might also like to come, tweet about it, blog about it, shout about it if you like - the more the merrier!

Here's to an awesome {sunny} day!
More deets to come soon...

Hello all,

Happy Wednesday to you and apologies for the lack of post yesterday - I had the busiest day off ever, it was pretty manic but I managed to conquer a rather mighty to do list - so well done me!

Anyway, it's a rather exciting day today - as you can now pre-order my new hand illustrated succulent kits from my Etsy shop! I have a few up for pre-order at the special introductory price of £28, they'll be  £34 once they're fully up and running so grab one now before they go!

Each kit comes with everything you need to plant up and care for your own little succulent, including a sweet little care leaflet.

They make an awesome gift {or treat for yourself} as they are super easy to care for by even the least green fingered of individuals AND they look very pretty on a desk or sunny windowsill!

You can get your hands on one here.

Let me know what you think won't you! :)

**p.s. If you'd like to see more - Harriet got a sneaky preview of my soon to come larger succulent kit & has done a blog post with a lovely snap of it here!**

Hello all,

I thought I'd share with you today a little project that I have been working on - it's a new product that I will soon be bringing to my little Etsy shop, just in time for summer {I hope}.

As you are I'm sure well aware, I have a bit of an addiction to succulents {there are worse things to be addicted to right?!}. Well I thought what better way to spread the love and bring a little bit of summer into all of your homes than to offer little terrarium/planter kits in my shop! They are the easiest plants to look after, and they're super forgiving if you forget to water them sometimes {oops} - so they make the perfect addition to even the most un-green fingered individual. Plus they come with all of the advice you need to keep them thriving! simples.
Each one will come with everything you need to get started with your own little succulent garden:

*//. hand illustrated cup planter
*//. proper cacti & succulent soil
*//. fine gravel
*//. the all important succulent or cacti
*//. a little care sheet
You'll then have the option for a few pounds extra to purchase a little terrarium toolkit which will give you everything you need to keep them happy going forward!

*//. plastic spray bottle {for just the right amount of weekly water}
*//. soft bristled paint brush {for dusting soil out of the leaves}
*//. round ended tweezers {for getting rid of dead leaves but not hurting the pretties}
*//. long handled metal spoon {to move soil into hard to reach places around your plant}
*//. a little handmade canvas bag to keep it all in!

There will also be the option to opt for bigger planters with a few more plants for the adventurous ones amongst you!

I'd really love to know what you think...all comments, suggestions, questions welcome :)

Hello all,

I'm back in the swing of things now having had a rather lovely 8 days off and what better way to kick things off post Prague than with some weekday cuteness?

It's no secret that I'm an uber lover of cute animals {this Pinterest board says it all...} so when I unwrapped my little birthday gifts from my pal Harriet I couldn't have been more happy!

She was kind enough to purchase me these super awesome collar clips from another fave of mine's Etsy shop - the wonderful Zoe - of Ladybirdlikes. I'm in love {excuse the pun} and can't wait to get myself some more pretty collared tops to wear them with!
Zoe also included a sweet little pastel pink bird brooch with my collar clips too which is super cute!

LadybirdLikes have the most awesome collar clips & necklaces many of which I'm rather partial to - here are my two current faves from the newest collection...
1//. PUGS!

Not only was I lucky enough to receive those beautiful heart collar clips but Harriet also gave me a set of each of her *super duper new* animal nail transfers which I was literally over the moon about as I'd been lusting after those little critters since she mentioned she was going to be getting them printed a little while ago.

As you can see - I couldn't decide which animal to cover my little nails in, so I decided on all three & in doing so have myself something of an animal party on my hands right now!
Harriet sells three different sets of animal nail transfers catering to each camp of animal lovers out there {well, fluffy animal lovers - no reptiles around here}. Each pack contains 40 critters of varying sizes {awesome if you have abnormally teeny nails like me}, they are super easy to apply & they look really good! The detail is amazing!

Thank you SO much Harriet!

If you would like to get your hands on some of these puppies {lol} you can just click the link below each of the photos & pop a set {or three} in your basket! simples.

PLUS - I'm told that the third part of my present is yet to arrive...I'm pretty stoked to see what else it could be that could top trump my first two ace pressies! Watch this space...OH could I forget, she bequeathed upon me a little bundle of new succulent babies from her recent charity shop hoard!! Yay. :)
So, if you have a birthday coming up - definitely get yourself down to Etsy and have a gander at the rest of Zoe & Harriet's work {oh and you might as well have a little browse of mine too whilst you're there!}, because everyone loves a unique gift and its really important that we all support handmade, and help small businesses grow & flourish!

It's awesome having such talented & thoughtful friends.

Until tomorrow.

{OH NO!} where's rachio?

Hopefully you can guess from the *hilarious* title of this post that Rachel is not here today ... Oh no! She has been whisked off by her lovely boy to celebrate her birthday at an exciting secret destination .. but where?? Well, actually I don't know!
So, instead you have a little guest post from me, Harriet. Hello, nice to meet you!

When it comes to birthdays and (more importantly) the presents, unless I'm making the gift myself, (i do like a bit of DIY!) I love to hunt for the perfect surprise from independent shops, and of course my first port of call is the wonder that is Etsy! I'm assuming you're all familiar with Etsy by now, you are OHNORACHIO fans after all!
I think you'll agree, you're guaranteed to find something beautifully made and totally unique over there.

I don't know about you, I *always* start out with the best intentions when I begin my search for the perfect gift for my mum/boy/bezzie/cat on etsy ... however ... something seems to take over me and before I know it I have completely forgotten the task at hand and am half way through creating a substantial list entitled : 'for MY birthday i would like...'

Please tell me I'm not the only one?

Well today I thought it would be a good opportunity to get into the spirit of birthdays and show you all some of my most favouritist of things around on etsy at the moment. This treasury pretty much sums up my current loves : muted pastels, succulents, and cats (obviously).

I do hope you enjoyed my *slightly* self indulgent blog post today! Have you seen any favourites on etsy recently that you'd like to add to your own birthday wish list? (I'd love to see! Leave me a link in the comments)

Now, please excuse me whilst I sit and sulk over the fact it's not my birthday, and that I'm not away enjoying myself on a surprise holiday ... sighhhhhhh

{HAPPY NATIONAL STATIONERY WEEK} & love is in the air...

Hello lovelies,

Happy midweek of NATIONAL STATIONERY WEEK! So it seems that the British springtime may finally be with us - which is ace for all involved - this week signals a very exciting one for geeky pen lovers like me, it's the one week of the year where we can shout about our obsessions over pretty notebooks, rulers, my fave - washi tape, and of course the all essential pens and pencils {swoon} and not feel a little lame.

Well it dawned on me the other day that the vast majority of the enquiries and orders coming through my humble little Etsy shop of late are wedding based. It's really lovely to be part of people's special day and to help them bring that personal handmade touch!

So, as love seems to well and truly be in the air, for both one and other and of course, a good bit of hand illustrated stationery - I thought a round up of my top wedding based orders was on the cards! Here are the top three items that lovely love birds seem to be ordering for their big days, and their guests.
I hope you like this little selection AND if you happen to be getting married - or would like to make a purchase as a gift for someone else who can find all of my items here
I can customise each one to your specifications and personalise them too with dates & initials or whatever else might take your fancy!

If you have no intentions of getting married just yet but like me, have a deep seated love of stationery then you of course may also purchase yourself a cheeky item or two from my little shop, go on - treat yourself!

5 {simple} things.

Hello all,

Happy Friday to you - I have a lovely day off today so have spent the morning topping up the spring clean {hence the later than usual post!}.
